Specific Math Concepts
Is there a math concept your child just isn’t grasping?
Math should make sense—not feel confusing or frustrating.

I teach using both the mastery approach and the spiral approach. The mastery approach aims to have a student thoroughly understand the concept, so they can succeed with the next concept that builds upon it. The spiral approach has the student continuously practice concepts to keep them fresh in their minds. In my experience, using both approaches often leads to the strongest student growth.

ACE Parents

I’m very familiar with how ACE teaches, and I understand that sometimes a child needs a different approach to fully master a concept before moving on to the next PACE. Since ACE is a mastery curriculum, it’s important to follow that learning sequence, as each PACE builds on previously mastered concepts. This method is fantastic for learning any subject, but some students may need practice using a different method to succeed, and that’s okay! But once they catch on… LOOK OUT! Confidence starts to grow fast!
