Does your child read the words but struggle to remember what they read?
Do they have trouble identifying the main idea, key details, fact vs. opinion, or the author’s purpose?

Once they catch on......
Look out! Reading becomes FUN!
Reading is more than saying the words on the page. Strong readers understand, remember, and think about what they read.
What this class includes:
• I assess your child to determine which skills they already know and which skills need to be strengthened
• I continuously monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed
• I teach strategies to help your child remember and understand what they read
• We practice applying these strategies using books at your child’s reading level
ACE Parents
I can also support your child within the ACE curriculum.
We will practice reading strategies using PACEs and Literature books, helping your child actively engage with the text using tools like highlighting and discussion.
For students working in Literature, it is often helpful to complete the corresponding PACEs alongside the chapter books (especially 1025–1036).
Book club option also available for ACE Literate 1025-1036..
