     I have been teaching kids how to read since 1992, and I love it! In that time, I have obtained and used several reading programs, which are so fun, hands-on, interactive, and very engaging, your child will hardly recognize they are learning!

     After getting your input and assessing what your child’s knows and still needs to learn, I will create an individualized lesson map, and we will work on phonological awareness, learn our letters and sounds, and sight words. Then, we will blend sounds into words. Once we can blend, we will start working on decodables. We will also play games, practice writing our letters, use online programs, do lessons in Koala Go Playground, which is tons of fun, and much, much more!

     You will be given access to any online programs I use with your child, allowing them to continue working between sessions.
