"Mrs. Kirkpatrick was my third-grade teacher at Outreach Christian School. She was an excellent teacher. I have several memories that I've kept throughout the years. One of my memories was when we took a field trip to London in the classroom. She made it seem like we were really in London; we packed our own bags and brought some stuffed animals with us. She made an airplane aisle out of her classroom, so we used our imagination and thought we were in an actual plane. We would watch videos of London and have snacks while we were on the plane. We visited many parts of London; she taught me how to use my imagination during our field trip. I struggled with English during my time with her. She helped me to understand the English language; she taught me how to write a proper sentence."
